False Lashed: A Perfect guide to applying false eyelashes

If you want to wear false eyelashes but you are not sure where to start here we will look at the top tips to helping you become pro at applying false lashes.

  • Select the right lash for your eyes – There are any different eyelashes to choose from and this can be overwhelming. We would recommend when you first choose lashes to start with a subtle eyelash and build up to more bolder styles when you get used to how they look and feel. Take a look at our range here.
  • Customise the eyelashes – Once you have chosen your eyelashes you will need to trim them to get them to fit your natural eye shape correctly. This will ensure they are comfortable, look natural and stay secure. Once you have measured the lash against your eye and trimmed to fit take a makeup brush and bend the band around the handle this will make your lash more flexible and help stop the corners from lifting.
  • Glue the lashes – Now you are ready to glue the lashes. Take the lashes and hold with tweezers and carefully apply a thin layer of the eyelashes glue across the band right to the corner of the lash. Leave for approximately 10-20 seconds to distribute.
  • Apply your lashes – You need to focus here on the placement of the eyelashes. Look into the mirror downwards and place your eyelashes along the lash line with your fingers or eyelash tweezers. Then we advise to blend your lashes with a thin layer of black mascara.
  • Removal – It is important to remove your lashes before removing your make up. Use an oil free make up cleanser and soften the bond between the lashes and skin using cotton wool. Peel the lashes from the outer edge to remove. Wipe away the rest of the glue and mascara then from the eyelashes and store in the original packaging.

By following these steps you will be able to wear false eyelashes flawlessly. Take a look at our fabulous range here.
