10 Halloween Makeup Ideas from Instagram
Planned your Halloween makeup yet? If not, don’t fear, we’ve got you covered! Instagram is thee go-to platform when it comes to finding inspiration, whether it be food, exercise or makeup. You could catch us scrolling for hours on end! There is no shortage of talented makeup artists sharing their amazing creations (seriously we can’t get enough). Here’s just a few of our favourite Halloween Makeup Ideas.
Bloody Masquerade
This gory yet girly costume created by the Minnesota based artist @ellycatt is so cool. We obviously love anything pink, but who knew it could be so spooky! Her feed has some seriously creepy looks you need to check out. And if you’re a horror addict like us, you’ll be wowed by her classic horror film recreations.
Colourful Leopard
Cat costumes may be generally considered a little bit basic but not this one by @jadedeacon. Her pink and yellow colour scheme is all kinds of fierce! If you want to re-create this amazing look, our long curly party wig in Baby Pink will help you out. Check out the makeup tutorial for this look here.
Spider Madness
We can all agree that spiders are terrifying, right? @aija_popova is giving us all those creepy crawly feels with this look. As long as there are no real spiders involved, we are cool with this! The realistic gory effect used on her lips is testament to Aija’s artistry and talent, and you should totally head to her insta for more Halloween looks.
Avatar Princess
Avatar may be so 2009 and far from scary. But the possibilities for breath-taking costumes are too good to leave in the past. As proved by this sparkly ‘Avatar Princess’ look by @namglam. You can watch the makeup tutorial for this look here. We love any excuse to add gems to our face and call ourselves princess. 👑
Slenderman
Who else used to play Slenderman as a kid? We would never have thought it would make for such amazing Halloween makeup, as created by Swedish makeup artist @nièmeart. Her stunning two tone hair is also total goals, and really adds to the effect of this look.
Neon Clown
Clowns are the costume craze this year, thanks to the remake of Stephen King’s IT! But we’ve had our share of creepy ones. This colourful clown by @ciaciaxo is a fun and playful look we would love to try ourselves. Time to put that all that neon paint we’ve gathered over the years to good use!
Dark Queen
Snow White may be cute, but don’t you think she’s a little bit dull? We would much rather channel our inner Dark Queen, like Queensland based makeup artist @bybrookelle. These makeup skills are second to none, her eyes, lips, and highlight are all SLAYING. Deffo a queen if we ever saw one!
Gorgeous Gems
Sweet Snack
Little Ghost Girl
Know of any awesome Instagrammers whose Halloween makeup should be on this list? If so, let us know! If you’re as obsessed with Halloween as we are, be sure to check out our other Halloween inspired posts.
